Worms24-05-2019 | 14:16:00 | No Comments

WOW! what a busy week we have had.

We have been learning about worms.

We took some of our learning outside and made some worms out of shapes, went for a worm hunt around the field,  practiced our cutting skills, and learnt lots of fun facts about worms. Please ask about some of the things we have learnt this week.

We hope you have a fabulous half term.

See you after the break 🙂

Mini-beast fun16-05-2019 | 14:07:24 | No Comments

This week in Nursery we have continued to learn about the life cycle of the butterfly. Ask your child to tell you about the different stages of this. At present our class caterpillars are still busy eating… They are not tiny hungry caterpillars anymore they are now big caterpillars; They will soon be in their cocoons!

We have been very busy both indoors and outdoors all week learning about different mini-beasts, finding them in our outdoor area and learning about some unusual mini-beasts that we hadn’t heard of such as the praying mantis.

This half term we are learning all about “Who lives at the bottom of the garden?”

This week we went out to explore the school fields and look for some bugs!

We took our magnifying glasses to help us look for them. We found some ants, spiders and worms.
